Take a relaxing cruise up the loch allowing breathtaking views of the islands and surrounding scenary. Located a short stroll from across the bridge over the River Leven.
Loch Lomond Shores
A leisurely 15 minute stroll from Time out, Loch Lomond shores offers a variety of shops and places to eat including the famous Jenners store. Well worth a visit.
Sea Life Aquarium
You could visit the local aquarium situated within Loch Lomond Shores to visit a number of animals and sealife creatures, many of which can be found in and around Loch Lomond.
Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre
Situated a 30 minute walk or a 5 minute drive is the Loch Lomond Bird of Prey centre. Here you can view a variety of majestic birds and have the opportunity to hold them. There are also public displays and a number of activities you can participate in. Next door is a garden centre which offers a multitude of plants and gifts for sale as well as a Tea Shop for afternoon refreshments
Balloch Castle
In the heart of Balloch Park is Balloch Castle, a beautiful building which has currently undergone refurbishment. The castle offers magnificent views of the loch and surrounding areas as it is situated at the peak of a hill. There are outdoor seating areas available which are perfect for a picnic. It is only a 10-15 minute walk through the scenic park itself.
